WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

Gareth & Kirsteen
Wedding, Sychpwll Centre, Llanymynech
Freshman Year were amazing, professional, good sound and had the whole place rocking!! They played with real energy and had a good set list prepared. The dance floor was bouncing, there was even a mosh-pit and the groom was crowd surfing. Can you thank the band so much for making our festival themed wedding magical!
Aimee & Stephen
Wedding, Knowsley Suites Hotel, Liverpool
The band were spectacular and absolutely made our night. Everyone commented to us about how good they were. Even my mum, who isn't a fan of pop-punk (which is why we booked Freshman Year) said they were amazing. We honestly can't thank them enough. So, so good.
Tash & Richard
Wedding, Kingdom, Kent
Freshman Year provided an amazing soundtrack to our wedding and everyone present had an absolutely fantastic time rocking out to their show. The guys sounded brilliant and played with real energy that got every one up on their feet. I would also like to say a huge thanks to the band for letting me play a song with them, it made the whole experience even more memorable for us and our guests. Thanks again, we loved every minute of it!
Lucy & Greg
Wedding, Sheepdrove Eco Centre, Berkshire
Freshman Year were absolutely fantastic. They have a clear passion for the music they play, and it came through in their performance. They read the room and responded to the crowd to keep everyone engaged and the party rocking. And they squeezed in as many of both the Bride and Groom's favourites as possible. I will 100% be personally recommending them to friends and family. They were even better live than they are on their promo videos, and were so friendly and professional. The greatest band in the world - not just a tribute.
Emma & Joost
Wedding, Riversdale Lodge, Bourne End
The band were absolutely fantastic. They were punctual, professional, and adapted to requirements of the venue that we had. They also just seemed like genuinely nice guys - really easy-going and friendly. Their cover of our first dance was beautiful and we had so many friends say that the set list made them feel that they had been transported back to their early teen years. I really appreciated that the band got a little moshpit going. The next morning I had no voice left because I had been screaming along to Rage Against the Machine and Nirvana… I would highly recommend this band to anyone who is still a little emo, pop-punk rocker at heart. If you think that the bland, repetitive line-up of Mumford & Sons / Ed Sheehan / John Legend at weddings is about as appealing as a wet sock, then Freshman Year might be right band for you. Any kind of sentimental crooning would’ve made me feel like I was an actor in a low budget rom-com, but headbanging to Blink 182 made me feel like myself on my wedding day. Thanks for giving us the soundtrack that allowed us to completely let go and lose ourselves in the moment - we had so much fun! Please pass along my gratitude to the guys!
